Comfort Calls' expert care supports their service users to continue to live independently in the familiar surroundings of their own homes.
Support available
The service offers:
- care for older people
- care for adults and children with specialist or complex needs such as physical or learning disabilities or dementia
- dedicated care support for people at the end of life
- reablement support to help people regain independence after a period of illness, injury or hospitalisation
- extra care support with around the clock assistance
- home care support services

Anyone with home care needs.
How to access the service
The agency provides a service for people who living in Boldon or South Shields (south) and have been assessed by Adult Social care and meet the national eligibility criteria see who will provide your home care.
For further information on eligibility see Request support with care.
If the person does not meet the national eligibility criteria, the agency can provide a service to support the person with daily living tasks by private arrangement. This service would be funded by the person.
