The Preparing to Working in Adult Social Care course has been designed in collaboration with local employers to prepare candidates for a career in the Adult Social Care sector. The programme focuses on enhancing the skills local employers require and provides learners with the knowledge for preparing to work in the adult social care industry.

Candidates will be provided with specialist support by their tutor, ensuring that the learner gains as much as possible from their time spent on the Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care course. The programme is comprised of carefully selected modules to ensure that the candidates gain the following skills to use in relation to the Adult Social Care sector:
