Core Qualification

Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People's Workforce - 261 GLH - 601/3395/8 

This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas working in children's environments including early years and social care.

It covers a wide range of areas including safeguarding, health and safety, supporting speech and language, child development.

Or

Level 2 Diploma in Care - 307 GLH - 603/2611/6

This qualification will support learners to develop the knowledge and skills required to work in a range of clinical healthcare support settings and in health and adult care environments.

It covers a wide range of areas including dementia awareness, mental health and well-being, supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and healthcare procedures

Level 2 Award in Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities - 88 GLH - 600/4041/5

This qualification provides learners with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills around supporting individuals with learning disabilities. It is aimed at learners who support individuals with learning disabilities as part of their job role.


Supporting Qualifications

Level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care or Children and Young People's Settings - 24 GLH - 600/0046/6

This qualification provides the knowledge to equip learners with an understanding of the health, social care and children and young people's sector and their role within it.

Topics include expectations of an employer, skills and attitudes required, current trends and how this influences the sector

Functional Skills Level 2 Maths - 55 hours

Functional Skills Level 2 English - 55 hours
