Award in Employability Skills - Training In Care

1 Day a week for 6 weeks

Must be aged 19+ and have lived in the UK / EU for a minimum of three years.

For full funding, must be aged 19+, receive any state benefit payment (evidence required), unemployed or working less than 16 hours and seeking employment.

This course equips learners to identify vacancies, promote themselves, prepare for a job interview and maximise their chance of success at interview, for paid employment or volunteering opportunities.

The course is designed for anyone who uses, or would like to use:

• Helping skills at work or in a personal capacity
• Learners who wish to progress towards further qualifications
• Learners who wish to study this programme to complement other programmes, for example, health and social care, children's care, learning and development, voluntary and community work.
