The Lost Fort exhibition

A small exhibition that will explore what we know and don't know about this 'lost' fort that controlled sea and river access to the Roman frontier.

The Lost Fort is part of Hadrian's Wall 1900 Festival, celebrating 1900 years since the building of Hadrian's Wall.

You can see the exhibition at Arbeia, South Shields Roman Fort from Monday 28 March to Sunday 2 October.

The site is open:
Monday to Fridays, 10am to 5pm
Saturdays, 11am to 4pm
Sundays, 1pm to 4pm
