Who is this course for? (Eligibility and personal characteristics)

Must be aged 19+ and have lived in the UK / EU for a minimum of three years.

For full funding, must be aged 19+, receive any state benefit payment (evidence required), unemployed or working less than 16 hours and seeking employment.

What will I study? (Key modules or content)

This course equips learners to identify vacancies, promote themselves, prepare for a job interview and maximise their chance of success at interview, for paid employment or volunteering opportunities.

This course is designed for learners looking to improve their understanding of nutrition and health.

The course aims to:

  • Develop learner's understanding of the importance of eating healthily and maintaining hydration
  • Develop learners' understanding of food choices and how to make healthy choices
  • Help learners plan a healthy diet for self and others
  • Increase understanding of eating disorders, the connections between food and feelings and ways to seek help and support.
