Who is this course for? (Eligibility and personal characteristics)This course is for anyone aged 19 or over who is interested in a career in education and wishes to gain a qualification allowing them to work as a teaching assistant within schools and colleges.

The course provides you with the skills and knowledge required to work as a classroom support assistant. The course also includes a practical placement which gives you hands on experience in the workplace.
