Who is this course for? (Eligibility and personal characteristics)This course is for residents in South Tyneside aged 19 or over in receipt of unemployment related benefits in need of improved CV / letter-writing for applications.
What will I study? (Key modules or content)

During this course you will gain a better understanding of CV's and covering letters.

You will study the following units:

  • Dispel myths around CVs

  • Identify good practice for CV building

  • CV formats

  • Raise confidence in using IT recourses

  • Gain a better understanding of CV's

    and covering letters

  • Produce, create and save new CV and covering letters

  • Taking responsibility and ownership of your own CV

  • Increase IT confidence and understand IT jargon

  • Improve social skills through interaction with others
