Who is this course for? (Eligibility and personal characteristics)

Individuals wishing to gain a nationally recognised qualification or progressing from level 1 (equivalent to GCSE D/E/1-3) in Maths.

What will I study? (Key modules or content)

Learners will work through elements including number, geometry and statistics, working towards an official assessment.

What are the entry requirementsCompletion of initial assessment to determine skills and knowledge.  Learners should demonstrate level 1 in Maths as a minimum (if working towards level 2).
Requirements of the course e.g. personal protective equipment, tools, materialsWriting materials; calculator. Access to a PC / laptop for online assessments/exams.  A dictionary may be useful. 
Progression and Careers

Level 2 is the highest level of functional skills. Further and higher education usually requires Maths at level 2 as a minimum entry requirement.
