Pre-employability and Wellbeing

Entry Level

This course is for anyone aged 19 or over.

We have designed this course to suit a wide variety of learners including the following:

• Those with an interest in employment
• Those who are unsure of a career path and looking to try something different
• Those who may wish to gain confidence with a view to gaining a useful qualification and transferrable skills

This course has been designed to give learners a solid introduction to a range of transferrable skills that will focus on:

• Assessing fitness levels
• Learning components of physical fitness
• Identify the functions of the Skeleton
• Planning a Fitness Programme
• Take Part in Fitness Activities
• Identify Nutrients for a Healthy Diet and Body

A motivational course with employability built-in, giving learners an opportunity to complete their own research, risk assessments, take part in activities and develop their own plan. Empowering learners to take control of their fitness so that they are better equipped to stay fit and healthy, organised, able to work as a team.

Progression opportunities to Level 1 and level 2

There are variety of outcomes of the course linked directly and indirectly to job seekers gaining employment:
