This service helps people stop smoking tobacco. Smoking is far more harmful than vaping, and switching completely to vaping is a much safer option if you smoke. We do not provide support for stopping vaping.

The South Tyneside Stop Smoking Service can only support people who live and / or work in South Tyneside to stop smoking.

If you are under 18 and are male, or under 18 and not pregnant, you will be automatically referred to Matrix for support. You must have consent from a parent or legal guardian to access this service.
