View planning applications in person
Online version
You can go to the Customer Service Centre to view the application online (using a computer) at the Town Hall and Civic Offices, Westoe Road, South Shields (Broughton Road Entrance) between:
- 8.30am and 5pm, Mondays to Thursdays
- 8.30am and 4.30pm on Fridays
No appointment is needed to do this.
Paper copy
If you wish to view a paper copy of the application and associated plans, an appointment must be made with the case officer dealing with the application (or by contacting the Planning Group on 0191 424 7421 or email planningapplications@southtyneside.gov.uk).
If you have particular difficulties with these arrangements, please contact us and we may be able to make alternative arrangements.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) update:
- You should check before setting off to view an application within our Customer Service Centre as opening hours have been affected - all applications can be viewed online.
