What can be decided
There could be 3 different outcomes at the conference.
If there are no concerns about your child, there will be no further involvement with your family.
If there are still some concerns about your child, the social worker may work with you and your family alongside other professionals on a child in need basis.
If your child is considered to have either suffered, is suffering or is likely to suffer harm, a child protection plan will be created to make sure that there are safeguards in place to reduce the risks to your child.
Whatever is decided will be put in a letter to you, even if you are at the meeting.
