Face coverings in Council buildings

Overview

If you are visiting a Council building, we would encourage you to continue to wear a face covering. 

Council buildings 

We would encourage you to wear a face covering when entering:

  • Customer service centres
  • Offices
  • Libraries
  • Leisure centres (can be removed when exercising)
  • Children's centres 
  • Cemeteries and crematorium buildings
  • Business centres

Staff working in Council buildings

Staff working in Council buildings are exempt from wearing a face covering, as workplace health and safety assessments have been carried out and they are working in COVID-secure environments.
