Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) refresher course for taxi drivers
South Tyneside Council were one of the first authorities to introduce taxi driver training in relation to CSE and vulnerability in March 2015.
Since then, we have successfully delivered many awareness sessions and we continue to do so for all new drivers.
The Council thanks the taxi trade for their support and recognises the key role that drivers, operators and call handlers have to play in tackling this issue.
To make sure knowledge remains current, all drivers are asked to review the short presentation below and will be asked to confirm this upon renewal of their licence.
