Tax-free childcare
Eligibility
To qualify, both you and your partner (if you have one) will have to be in work and each expecting to earn at least £120 a week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage) and not more than £100,000 each year.
If you are your partner are on maternity, paternity or adoption leave, or you are unable to work because you are disabled or have caring responsibilities, you could still be eligible.

You can't claim Tax-free childcare at the same time as claiming Tax Credits, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers, but you can get it with the 15 hours and 30 hours schemes.
Reconfirm your eligibility
If you receive Tax-Free Childcare, you must reconfirm your eligibility and check your details are up to date every 3 months.
If you receive both Tax-Free Childcare and 30 hours free childcare, you can reconfirm for both at the same time.
