Children and young people can be radicalised in different ways.
A common feature of radicalisation is that the child or young person does not recognise the exploitative nature of what is happening and does not see themselves as a victim.
This practice guidance summarises the responsibility of professionals and volunteers to intervene to prevent the grooming of children for involvement in extremist activity.
