SOUTH TYNESIDE COUNCIL ((WEST BACK) SUNDERLAND ROAD, SOUTH SHIELDS) ORDER 2021
South Tyneside Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce No Waiting At Any Time on (West Back) Sunderland Road, South Shields west side from its junction with Wood Terrace in a northerly direction for a distance of 35 metres, from a point 42 metres north of its junction with Wood Terrace for a distance of 8 metres and from a point 57 metres north of its junction with Wood Terrace for a distance of 10 metres and east side from a point 35 metres north of its junction with Wood Terrace for a distance of 16 metres and from a point 57 metres north of its junction with Wood Terrace for a distance of 5 metres.
The Order will revoke No Waiting At Any Time on (West Back) Sunderland Road, South Shields (the access road between Wyvestow Lodge & No 4 Sunderland Road) north side from the back of the footway of Sunderland Road westwards for a distance of 20 metres and south side from the back of the footway of Sunderland Road westwards and then southwards for a distance of 26 metres.
The Order will introduce No Waiting At Any Time on (West Back) Sunderland Road, South Shields (the access road between Wyvestow Lodge & No 4 Sunderland Road) north side from the back of the footway of Sunderland Road westwards then southwards for a distance of 55 metres.
Full details of these proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm at the Town Hall at the address below.
