South Tyneside Council (Arthington Way, South Shields Resident Permit Scheme) Order 2022
On 5 January 2022 South Tyneside Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The Order which came into operation on 17 January 2022 introduced :-
- Residents Permit Holder Parking at all times for properties no's 14 to 34 inclusive on Arthington Way, South Shields both sides, from a point 174 metres north westwards of its junction with Bramham Court in a north westerly direction to the turning area at the most north westerly part of the street
Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm at the Town Hall, Westoe Road, South Shields, NE33 2RL.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any of the requirements of the Act or of any relevant regulations made under the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 5 January 2022 when the Order was made, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
