Selling to the Council

The Council's and South Tyneside Homes' standard terms and conditions for supplying goods or services will apply to all purchase orders, to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, other than at times where the Council or South Tyneside Homes has:

• stated that a standard form contract for works applies, or
• agreed alternative terms and conditions for the supply of goods and services as appropriate
• agreed special conditions with the contractor through an existing contractual arrangement with South Tyneside Council, South Tyneside Homes or the North Eastern Procurement Organisation (NEPO). 

Any terms or conditions the contractor intends to apply will no longer be valid. At all times the Council, South Tyneside Homes or NEPO conditions of contract will be effective.

Unless stated, the form of contract for construction activity will be JCT Minor Works 2016, amended as follows:
