Audit of accounts 2019 / 2020 - Right to inspect the statement of accounts

The Audit of the Statement of Accounts of South Tyneside Council, including the Tyne and Wear Pension Fund Accounts, for the year ended 31 March 2020 has been concluded.

The Financial Statements (including the Statement of Accounts) are available for inspection by any local government elector for the area of South Tyneside Council at the Town Hall & Civic Offices, Westoe Road, South Shields. The Inspection can be undertaken on Mondays to Fridays, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.00 pm, when any such elector may make copies of the Financial Statements or extracts there from. Appointments must be booked in advance by writing to the aforementioned address.
