Overview
These courses will help prepare you for working with children and young people, most commonly working with babies and young children from birth to five years of age in childcare settings.
To work in this sector you will need to pass background checks by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Adult Community Learning courses
Our adult community learning courses provide those over the age of 19 with an opportunity to try out an area of learning to see if it's right for you.
These courses are normally quite short, informal and very supportive. If you've not been in education for a while this is the ideal way to get back into it.
When you've completed your course you will be guided and supported to make the next step.
Adult Accredited courses
Our adult accredited courses are for you if you are over 19 years old and want to gain a qualification in a particular area to help you gain employment.
There are a huge variety of areas you can develop your skills in and when you've completed your course you will receive a nationally recognised qualification which is valued by employers.
